Wow where has time gone? Police Equipment Reviews has been so busy lately that we can’t believe how long it has been since the last time we did a police gear review. We started a web hosting review site after becoming interested in that stuff after the launch of our police equipment review site and police guns review site. But we are back and promise to get you more cop gear reviews on a frequent basis.
In today’s Police Equipment Review’s blog we are going to talk about some of our favorite pieces of police equipment that are out there. Kind of a general article! Those items are going to be the Rings Blue guns, Streamlight TLR 3 tactical light, and the 5.11 Tactical Taclite pro pants.
The Rings Blue guns are simulated firearms that are designed to be used during training scenarios. The guns are made out of polyurethane with steel reinforcement so that they last very long. As you can probably tell from the name, the Rings Blue guns are blue in color signifying that they are a safe training weapon. The Rings Blue guns are available in Beretta, Walther, HK, Glock, Sig Sauer, Smith and Wesson, and many long guns. Heck they even make a Taser International replica. These training firearms can be purchased at most major police gear stores.
The Streamlight TLR 3 is very similar to the Streamlight TLR 2 but a newer version. It features an LED light with 4,100 candela peak beam intensity which is a lot brighter than a lot of other tactical lights. The Streamlight TLR 3 will run for about 1.5 hours continuously. The Streamlight TLR 3 costs about $84.99.
Finally, a pair of police pants that is very comfortable. Even if they are designed for plain clothes, the 5.11 Tactical Taclite pants are very popular. These pants are very lightweight and made out of polyester and cotton. They feature all the necessary pockets and are available in six colors. The cost of the 5.11 Tactical Taclite pants are about $39.99.
