The extender goes where the original base plate for the magazine was and provides a slightly larger area to grip the Glock. This is great on the Glock 27 pistol. 3) Hogue grips- While the newer Glock handguns have a textured grip, it can still be slippery for some people. Police Equipment Reviews uses a Hogue grip on all our Glock guns. The Hogue grip slides on to the Glock pistol and provides a great grip. The Hogue grips cost about $10.00.
