As I have mentioned before, I recently changed assignments at work that resulted in me buying some new police equipment. Well it seems to never stop, the need for new police gear! For the last 8 years, I have been so use to wearing my body armor, whether it be my Safariland body armor or American Body Armor, that I forgot when I’m in plain clothes I don’t have to wear it on a daily basis. But when I do need it, I need to have a raid vest or outer carrier.
So last week I went to my local police store, Galls, and purchased an American Body Armor Tactical Outer Carrier. The carrier is very nice and fits my American Body Armor Extreme HP ballistic vest nicely. I simply pull my body armor panels out of the Extreme HP carrier and slide it into the Tactical Outer Carrier.
The Tactical Outer Carrier comes standard with five fixed pockets, front and back ID patches, and a belly band for easy on and off. Another nice feature is that the carrier accommodates the MOLLE system so you can add additional cop equipment on it.
I love this carrier. It is very comfortable, easy to store your police gear in, and looks professional. I would highly recommend the American Body Armor Tactical Outer Carrier.
