Glock Pistols and Ankle Holsters

Sorry that I haven’t posted for a few days here. I have been up in Costa Mesa on some training. Talk about a great opportunity for me to see some of the latest and greatest police equipment! The training is great and whenever you get a bunch of cops together they show off all their cop gear!

However, I feel lonely at night sense I am by myself. Last night I found myself looking at some camping gear at a local camping equipment store. After that I visited a police gear store right down the street from the hotel that specialized in Glock pistols. The shop was pretty small but had a great selection of Glock pistols. Since I already own the Glock 27 pistol and the Glock 22 pistol, I found the store to be interesting. I kept finding myself looking at the Glock 30 handgun. They have all types of accessories for the Glock handguns including the Streamlight TLR 2 tactical flashlight, Fobus holsters, and much more. Their prices for Glock handguns were pretty reasonable also.

As I get ready for my new assignment, I am starting to buy some new police gear sense I am not going to be wearing a uniform anymore. I recently purchased another pair of the 5.11 Tactical pants that I really love. The pants are very comfortable and durable. I also have purchased a new AKER holster and am looking for a new ankle holster. After reading some ankle holster reviews and testing them out myself, I have decided to hold off on purchasing a new ankle holster. I love my DeSantis Die Hard ankle holster but really liked the Fobus ankle holster and Bianchi ankle holsters. I am undecided!

I know that in the past I have really discouraged buying used police gear, but I have to admit that I sold some of my used police equipment to a newer officer. The equipment that I sold was some old duty gear that was in great condition. I had only worn the duty gear a couple times and went back to my old duty gear. I sold a complete set of nylon duty gear. I just didn’t think it looked as professional as my Bianchi International duty gear belt.

Again sorry for the lapse in posting! I promise to get back on a regular schedule and keep reviewing police gear. Talk to you soon!
